Methodology
Rankings come from our projection model (season-long PPR fantasy points), ordered by VOR — value over replacement: projected points above a freely-available replacement player at the same position. VOR, not raw points, is the standard way to compare value across positions (a high-scoring QB can still rank below a scarcer RB/WR). The board updates daily as injuries, depth charts and ADP shift.

The VOR gaps tell a scarcity story raw points can't. McCaffrey and Robinson sit 40+ VOR clear of anyone else at any position — a two-man tier — before the RB pool compresses into a long, gradual slope from Achane (145.1) down through Jonathan Taylor (89.4). That shape argues for treating picks 1-2 as a class apart, not just 'the top RBs.'
Quarterback shows the opposite pattern. Josh Allen projects for more raw points (387.3) than anyone on the board, yet his VOR (141.6) trails five running backs and two receivers because the position is deep — Mahomes, Mayfield and Lawrence all cluster within two points of each other (301-303) at pick 27-30. When three QBs project almost identically that far apart in ADP, it's a signal the position can be filled late without much drop-off, which is exactly what VOR is built to expose.
Tight end tells a third story: a bifurcation, not a slope. McBride's 116.1 VOR stands alone, then Bowers, Kelce and Loveland bunch together 54-58 points lower. That's a much sharper cliff than at receiver, where Chase and Nacua are closely matched and the WR2-WR6 tier (St. Brown through Jefferson) declines more evenly. Worth flagging, though: Loveland's number is a rookie projection with zero NFL data behind it, so treat that tight-end tier with more caution than the veterans around it.
