The steepest cliff on this board sits right at the top. Josh Allen's 141.6 VOR is nearly 60 points clear of Jalen Hurts, and Hurts himself sits almost 28 points clear of the Mahomes tier below him — three players, three distinct value tiers, all before you even reach the QB2 range most leagues actually draft from.
From there the board flattens out fast. Tiers 2 through 4 — nine quarterbacks in all — span just 56.7 to 22.6 VOR, a tight cluster spread across ADPs from the high 50s to the low 120s. That flatness is the real story: once you're past the top three, the difference between a QB taken at pick 60 and one taken at pick 120 is often marginal on a per-point basis.
Mobility is doing a lot of the heavy lifting near the top. Allen, Hurts, Nix, Herbert (situationally), Jackson and Daniels all carry real rushing volume, which props up floor even when the passing game stalls — a pattern that's persisted across recent fantasy seasons rather than a one-year blip. It's also worth noting several proven names — Burrow, Stroud, Young, Darnold, Daniels among them — grade out below replacement here; that's less a talent verdict and more a reflection of how thin true difference-making production gets past the mid-teens at this position.
